ACR Conference App
The Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR) recently selected AppCreatorPro to be the provider of a mobile app for the attendees at its annual conference in New Orleans LA. Communications Lead Leah Retting and Marketing Lead Valerie Bowman outlined plans for an ambitious and comprehensive app for the show.?In addition to information on over 100 sessions and speaker bios for each, ACR wanted:
- maps of the conference hotel and all meeting rooms
- hotel information
- excursion and activities information for New Orleans
- complete vendor directory and show floor map
- sponsor recognition on front of app
- links to download handouts
- transportation information
- Twitter feed
- ability to send updates to attendees via text message and email
Retting noted that feedback from conference attendees regarding the app was positive: ?we have had great feedback on site from the app. Everyone here just loves it and they love not?having?to caring their printed program everywhere.?
